Step 1: Merit-Based Selection (No Entrance Exam)

Haryana Polytechnic Admission 2026-27 is 100% merit-based. There is NO entrance exam or test. Admission is purely based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10th for Diploma Engineering, 12th for Pharmacy/Degree courses).

Step 2: Merit List Preparation

After the last date of application, HSBTE will prepare a merit list based on the marks of the qualifying exam. Separate merit lists will be prepared for different categories (General, SC, ST, OBC, etc.).

Step 3: Online Choice Filling

Candidates whose names appear in the merit list will be invited to participate in online counselling. During counselling, you’ll fill your college and course preferences (choice filling) based on your rank and merit.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

Based on your merit rank and choices filled, the system will automatically allot a seat in one of your preferred colleges and courses. The seat allotment result will be published on the portal.

Step 5: Reporting at Allotted Institute

After seat allotment, candidates must physically report to the allotted institute within the given time frame (usually 3-5 days) with all original documents. Failure to report will result in seat cancellation.

Step 6: Document Verification & Fee Payment

At the institute, your documents will be verified and you’ll need to pay the course fee (as per the institute fee structure). After successful verification and fee payment, your admission will be confirmed.

Step 2: New Registration

Click on “New Registration” or “Apply Online” link for your desired course (Diploma Engineering / Pharmacy / Degree). Enter basic details like Name, Email ID, Mobile Number.

Step 3: Fill the Online Application Form

After registration, login with your credentials. Fill in all required details — Personal Information, Educational Qualifications, Category, Address, etc. — carefully and accurately.

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

Upload scanned copies of: Photograph, Signature, 10th Marksheet, 12th Marksheet (if applicable), Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC), Domicile Certificate, etc. — as per guidelines.

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

Pay the application fee (₹700 or ₹1,000 as per your category) online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Save the payment receipt.

Step 6: Submit the Application

Review all filled information carefully. Once satisfied, click “Final Submit”. After submission, download and print the Application Form and Fee Receipt for future reference.
